Wireless industry professionals are invited each year to participate in one of our various conferences.
Annual Convention
The opportunities to grow, learn and share with other industry professionals are anchored by the Annual Convention and Exhibition. Held every spring in Las Vegas, this event has become a premier showcase for presentations on marketing, technology, finance and government policy issues. Product and service providers from across the nation participate in the Exhibit Hall. It is here where members can meet to discuss the latest industry issues, innovations and technology.
Our 2009 Annual Convention brought nearly 800 attendees to the MGM Hotel & Casino. Here’s some of what was offered:
Business & Technical Conference
RCA’s 2008 Business & Technical Conference was held in Lake Tahoe in October. The crowd of 300 conference attendees met with vendors and attended sessions that included:
The 2009 Business & Technical Conference takes place October 21-23 at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas. This day and a half education conference includes sales, marketing, technical and accounting sessions providing educational opportunities for everyone in the industry. Aimed specifically at small wireless operators, the conference includes a Tabletop Showcase area where Associate members can share their latest offerings with attendees.
Webinars
In 2009, RCA is on task to offer 10 webinars. The webinars bring industry experts together for a presentation on a timely topic in our industry and provides adequate time for questions and answers. The webinars are an affordable way to provide your staff with the eduation they need without incurring the cost of travel.
Lobby Days
At the 2009 Lobby Days, 27 RCA member company representatives traveled to Capitol Hill to talk with Members of Congress and their staff on issues at the forefront of the wireless industry. RCA had a total of 45 meetings including 22 with Members of Congress. Prior to their meetings, attendees were given a “primer” on lobbying that will help them at home as they reach out to their legislators.
