RCA Lobby Days

Seventeen RCA members traveled to Capitol Hill last week for RCA’s annual Lobby Days to express concerns about recent FCC activity that negatively affects rural wireless consumers namely the cap on support to wireless CETCs, how roaming issues block consumer access and how exclusive handset deals contribute to a digital divide. RCA had a total of 45 meetings with Members of Congress and their staff. More details

Elevate Your Potential – Business & Technical Conference 2008

Formerly known as the Business Development Conference, the 2008 event will offer marketing, technical and accounting sessions providing educational opportunities for everyone in our industry. Aimed specifically at small wireless operators, the annual conference includes a Tabletop Showcase area where exhibitors can display their products and services. The conference also includes a segment highlighting successful ad campaigns conducted by member companies, with competition in three categories of ads for the coveted RCA Excellence in Marketing Awards. This year’s event will take place at Harvey’s Resort & Casino, Lake Tahoe, Nevada on October 7-9, 2008. Look for registration materials in the mail soon!
