 CCA Congratulates Rosenworcel, Pai on Confirmations

 Washington, DC – Today, the Senate confirmed the nominations of Jessica Rosenworcel and Ajit Pai as Commissioners to the Federal Communications Commission.  CCA congratulates Rosenworcel and Pai on their confirmations and looks forward to working with them and the entire Commission on issues critical to competitive carriers.

In a statement, CCA President & CEO Steven K. Berry said, “I congratulate Jessica Rosenworcel and Ajit Pai on their confirmations and applaud the Senate for its actions.  Chairman Genachowski should be very pleased to have two bright, well-informed individuals join him.  Rosenworcel and Pai served their former bosses well, and I think they’ll serve the American public the same.”

Berry continued, “Rosenworcel and Pai will be a real plus to the FCC as they address some of the most difficult policy issues on the table, and we look forward to working with them to ensure competitive connectivity.”
